The trip to Ireland was fabulous! We threw every care to the wind, eating and drinking whatever our hearts desired, and even some things they didn’t desire just for the experience (Pigs blood… not as bad as you think).
Now we are home, not only adjusting back the time change, and work schedules, but also food change. All that rich, delicious fare has left us in dire straits with bloated bellies, and junk food cravings, and the ever so lovely acne. I think a good spring detox is in order.
It seems to me that everyone thinks a detox is all about drinking cucumber water and eating little to no food. But this is so wrong. Cleaning out your system doesn’t have to be about starving yourself. It is possible to choose the correct foods to get the job done.
This week I plan on posting several of my favorite detox recipes, and healthy habits (Don’t worry in the near future I plan to post an overview of our trip complete with pictures). Because of this I have decided to title this week DETOX WEEK!

1 egg white
1 packet hot cocoa mix (roughly 2 tablespoons)
1.5 Table spoons Milk
1.5 tablespoons oil
