Middle Eastern Spiced Venison Kabobs

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • ¾ teaspoons ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon dried mint
  • 1 ½ teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • Juuice form half a lemon
  • 1 lb venison cut into 1 to 2 inch cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl combine all the herbs, spices, oil, lemon juice, and vinegar.
  2. Add the venison and toss well to coat. Let stand at room temperature for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerated overnight.
  3. Once marinated skewer the meat onto kabob stick and place on a preheated grill. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes a side or until desired doneness is reached.
  4. Remove from heat and serve.
