Busy Busy!

Man, this month was a ride. We started off camping with my parents, then spent a week at a cabin on a lake with Chuck’s parents. On top of all that Chuck was stuck working overtime for weeks, and Monster picked up a stomach bug. We had so much going on I’m still trying to catch up with myself.

Side note: Vacations with small children are NOT like vacations used to be. They are a lot of fun, but the whole relaxation part didn’t quite happens. It’s cool I love seeing my little guy so happy, I’d do it all again in a heartbeat.

June had a lot going on, but July promises to be crazy. Not only is Monster turning 1 but Chuck is turning the big 3-0h. It means lots of planning and partying. There could be worse things, right?

The Baby:

Little boy started off the month sleeping like a dream, then he got a cold. Poor thing couldn’t breathe at all, which of course made it hard for him to sleep. He pulled through and is feeling so much better. Also, I swear he grew like half a foot in this month. He looks so much more like a toddler than a baby, and it kills me.

Well, I have to say April was a really crazy month for us. A lot happened. Chuck got a new job (yay), and we bought a van (undecided on how I feel about this still) to name just two.
