This is a lifestyle that I can aspire to. Now I just need to get all of my friends to buy houses within walking distance, and a breakfast shop to come in down the street, we have everything else we need within biking distance, and I’m working on the gardens. Whose in with me?

This might be my new favorite show. and this video…

I’m also finding this diet challenge super interesting.

Quote of the week: “When we buy anything beyond the most basic ingredients for life, we are just buying feelings.” – From this post.

800 year old squash. This is amazing, and it makes me want to save seeds from my garden this year.

Daily drinking trumps weekend benders, so says science.

Favorite pins this week from my Food Love Board:

A different take on an American classic: The Jameson Whiskey Blue Cheese Burger with Guinness Cheese Sauce + Crispy Onions | halfbakedharvest.com @hbharvest:

Mascarpone Cream Tart with Fresh Fruit:

20-Minute Lemon Pesto Penne - baby broccoli, oven roasted tomatoes, pesto, fresh lemon, feta, and basil. My husband says it's his new favorite! 350 calories. | pinchofyum.com

I’m in for #1. I think it’s actually very likely that our future house will be pretty close to yours! Then we just need our town to get cracking on that breakfast place 😉

I’m all about being the breakfast place proprietor, and I think that right across from Rocco’s would be perfect. I just need someone to come up with the startup costs for me.
