Interesting thoughts on Millenials and investing.

However, will we even be able to make money to invest it in the future?

7 Things You Should Have in the Kitchen by Age 30. I can get behind most of these, and in fact own all but 2 already, they are on the list to get now that I have a real kitchen.

The FDA is banning trans fats. This is huge, and a giant step for our nations health, but it makes you think since it takes so much to get the FDA to do anything, just how bad are trans fats?

Avril Lavigne talks Lyme Disease. I’ve seen what this disease can do, and in some cases its not as simple as one treatment to cure it. It is a big deal and we need to start treating it that way.

I really liked this video that I saw on Brooke’s Blog last week. I just love how all the women in it are different ages, shapes, and into different sports. It’s super motivating.

Also This new trailer for a Walking Dead spin off has me all excited

And lastly because this cracked me up and clearly there aren’t enough videos in this post already. The whole Rachel Dolezal thing is hilarious to me.

Females in robotics and engineering are rare enough, but a female teenage entrepreneur in robotics? She might be my new hero.

And along the same lines… When did Girls Start Wearing Pink.

And it’s no wonder the gender thing is an issue, when a male Nobel Prize Winner talks trash a bout women in science. So proud of my STEM ladies responses!  check out the awesome hashtag here.

“Have a nice day” was written on a yellow sticky note by 2 escaped prisoners from a maximum security prison, in my home state. Suddenly a few hours doesn’t seem like far enough.

Where the 10,000 step craze came from and what it isn’t doing in the fight against obesity.

And because I fell down the rabbit hole; here is a post on gut health. I’m not sure if the gut is the key to it all, but it’s probably a good idea to eat more fiber anyway and I will always advocate for the presence of dogs in every home.

When Did Blogging Get so Serious? – amen sister!

I cannot believe this woman was arrested for braiding hair?! Glad to see her fight and win for her rights!!!

5,000 Free Lunches – More of this!!! There are starving people in the world and we actually produce enough food to feed them. Food waste needs to stop!!

And more of this: Taylor Swift continues to astound me and as a former hater I have to say that she is a true inspiration.

The Hipster Beard is over. I always wondered who made these decisions. Chuck’s had a beard as long as hes been able to grow one. I’ll have to tell him the news that he’s out of style again.

Debunking Fitness Myths. It’s all so true!

I’m not vegan but I can agree with so many statements in this post. These thoughts resonate with my own and while I will continue to eat animals the sources, methods and means are moving toward a more sustainable system. Also Being a part time vegetarian, and sometimes vegan has made a huge difference in my life., just sayin’.

If you are interested in learning more on factory farming, and the issues with our current diet and farming system try the Chew on This Ted Talks. I started watching them on netflix and am now addicted.

Jessica Alba and The Honest Company, now this is something I can get behind. Also who knew that Judge Judy rivaled Beyonce?

And since we are on the topic of awesome and powerful women. Here is Forbes list of The Worlds Most Powerful Women.

The internet is a wild and wonderful place. Every couple of weeks I like to share all of the things that I stumbled on that made me giggle, stop and think, cry, or snort. You know all the best stuff. I hope it keeps you entertained this Friday. Enjoy!

First and foremost. This is a thing, like a real thing, and I’m just out of words to explain it. This man, a farmer from Virginia is claiming a land in Africa so that his daughter can be a real life princess. WHAT?!

This video made me snort tea out of my nose. It was hilarious. Also P.S. I want Anna Kendrick to be my BFF. P.P.S Pitch Perfect 2 was amazing, I’m ready for number 3.

“The way he sees the concept of getting education is not only learning the dry facts that you need to learn in class, but also learning values. And that’s the very important message that my dad wants to endow to the world.” – All for helping out a mother trying to get her education.

Why all Instagram Food Porn is Shot from Above.

Bone broth has been around for centuries, but now that it’s cool it has become a hot button topic.

I’m amazed that people are actually trying the #KylieJennerLipChallenge. I mean Really?

Seriously how pretty is this garden?

The idea that millions of women, myself included don’t really know all that much about the hygiene products that we use at that time of the month is kind of terrifying, but hopefully that will be changing soon.

Youtube’s Highest Paid Stars. There are so many video gamers here. I’m going to nag my brother to start a channel and then I will quit my job and promote it for him. That’s a solid plan right?

I stumbled across a really interesting article about the difference between frugality and stealing. It’s a very interesting read. Part 1, 2 and 3.

I was a runner in highschool, so this made me spit out my tea.
